Conference Weekend

It has been our tradition the last few years to spend conferance weekend camping with Foote's parents. His parents have an RV with satellite so we are still able to watch conferance and enjoy the great outdoors at the same time. I have decided that I must be turning into a wimp in my old age because I thought I was going to freeze to death. (okay, maybe not all the way to death but it was really cold sleeping in the tent.) The first night I was so cold I woke up and got fully dressed even my coat and crawled back into bed and was finally able to fall asleep. I was so annoyed that I could not sleep that I had to wake up Foote to let him know that April camping trips are no longer allowed. (I am sure by next year I will probably forget my new rule, but I felt better letting him know) I have decided I am a summer camper only. Luckily the girls seemed to do just fine we had them sleep in a seperate tent, since the last time we went camping Aly slept in our tent she refused to go to sleep and just jumped all over us. And except for the first night when Aly had a hard time falling asleep and kept yelling "MOM...DAD I WAKE UP I WAKE UP" she did a good job sleeping in here own sleeping bag.

We had a good time with Grandma and Grandpa and except for freezing and Aly having a really really hard time with Potty training while camping, everything went really well.

Foote brought a kite to fly with Aly, and I had to laugh because he kept giving the handle of the kite to Aly to hold and she would hold it for a while waving it around then she would let it go and he would have to run as fast as he could in his flip flops to catch the kite. I wish I had a video it was really funny to watch. After chasing the kite a few to many time Foote decided to wrap the string around her before giving her the handle.
