Deem's Birthday

We spent this past weekend in Salt Lake City to celebrate Footes grandpa's 90th birthday (we call him Deem). It was a lot of fun to spend time with family and Aly had a great time entertaining everyone. I don't generally think of her as a really outgoing child but she surprised even me at the birthday party as soon as we got there she proceeded to tell everybody and anybody hi. At one point we were sitting around singing old songs that Deem liked and Aly proceeded to the middle of the room and started dancing to everyones singing and was pleased with herself for all the laughs she was able to get from the crowd.

We stayed at Brad and Jenny's house. It was fun to see them and as we were leaving we asked Aly if she had a good time at Brad and Jenny's and she said "no not Brad and Jenny's its Aspen's"(Aspen is the name of their dog) so I guess the house now belongs to the dog and Brad and Jenny are just visitors.

We were also able to have a quick visit with our friends Kalleen and Jared it is always fun to stop in and see them and their family. So even though it was a short trip for such a long car ride. it was a good trip.

A special thanks to Philips. Don't know if we could have done it without you.

That is so funny that it is Aspen's - Aly was so cute. We really enjoyed having you guys stay and playing games.
