Read any good books lately?

Ok so I am getting desperate for a good book. I love to read, and I am not opposed to audio books either. So there are not many hours in the day when I am not either reading a book or listening to one. I easily read or listen to 1 to 3 books a week. I am currently working my way through all of Jane Austens works again, but I have to say since I have already read them all a few times it is not near as exciting as having something new. I have been searching on goodreads for ideas, but when I went through the most recent popular books I was disappointed to find that I had read almost all of them. So I am asking for suggestions I need some good books to read this summer it may not be easy because I have read a lot of the most common recommendations, but I am open to all suggestions and genres. So tell me what are you reading? What is a book or books that you would recommend? or authors? To see what I have already read visit my bookshelf on goodreads and you can even see what I thought of the books I've read.

Thanks

Neil has been reading Robert Ludlum's Bourne series - completely different from the movies, but very good, he says.

You're also welcome to come look at my book shelf. We don't have many books, but there may be something you'd like. We need to get together anyway, so just come on over sometime! The girls can run around and we can talk about books. :)

I was glad to see time travelers wife on your list. I felt a little dirty for reading it, and it's comforting to know I'm not the only sicko. I love the #1 ladies detective agency series and the Confessions of a Sopaholic, series.I don't have the mental capacity to read deep books, these are just fun reads. Did you like the life of PI? I found the book on CD at the DI and haven't listened to it yet. I hadn't ever heard anything about it.

I wasn't a big fan of Life of PI, but you will have to let me know what you think. I thought it took awhile to get to the actual story and than the story even dragged a little. I liked the Time Travelers Wife even if I probably shouldn't have. I was a little annoyed at some of the language, but I thought the story itself was a good so you have a sicko buddy. Thanks for the suggestions I will have to check them out.
